What should I serve at a memorial reception?
Iced and warm drinks, light savories, something sweet, and water — that combination works at most memorial receptions, at any time of day. Avoid full meals or anything that needs a knife and fork. We can guide you on specifics.
How far in advance should I book?
We accommodate short-notice catering, including same-week bookings for memorial and funeral receptions. For ongoing or recurring catering, two to four weeks gives us room to plan. Reach out and we'll tell you what's possible.
What's included in your catering packages?
Three options: pick-up from our Ogden kitchen, delivery to your venue, or on-site with setup, service, and clean-up. All include iced and warm drinks, sandwiches and savories, charcuterie, dessert, water, and dietary accommodation as a baseline.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions on short notice?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are part of every spread by default. We will work with any additional restrictions you share when you book.
Do you work with funeral homes and hospices in Northern Utah?
Yes. We coordinate directly with funeral homes, hospice partners, and care facilities across Northern Utah. If your funeral home or hospice has a preferred process, we work within it.
What if the guest count changes last-minute?
We expect it. Counts shift in the final days, sometimes the final hours. Let us know as soon as you can and we'll adjust. We'd rather bring more than you need than leave the table empty.
What areas do you serve?
Atlas serves all of Northern Utah, including Ogden (home base), Salt Lake City, Layton, Bountiful, Logan and Cache Valley, Park City, and the broader Wasatch Front. Our kitchen is at 2341 S Washington Blvd, Ogden.
